Day One

When we finally got up, here's a scene from our hotel window. It could be anywhere in Southeast Asia, but it's our home away from home. There's a large Asian Geo science event happening at the conference center connected to the hotel, so there are hundreds of earth science geeks from all around the area. So the hotel is booked solid.
